I have always been relatively fit and pretty active but as I hit forty I started to notice that I was progressively becoming overweight and physically weaker. I realized that I had to make a greater effort to maintain my weight and to regain my strength. I made numerous attempts at getting back into shape by trying to walk regularly and attending various classes like yoga, pilates, aerobics etc.  But I would tend to lose my momentum after falling out of routine and not seeing or feeling results.

In early 2014, I was sharing my frustrations with a girlfriend and she invited me to join her for an exercise class that she recently started participating in locally. But as an overly committed working mom I made every excuse as to why I couldn’t commit.  So I proceeded down my path for another couple months until I started to notice her incredible results.  I decided it was time for me to stop making excuses and accept the invitation to join her for a session… That is when I had the privilege of meeting Ash and to experience what DNA Fitness was all about.

I immediately embraced the experience.  Ash was welcoming, encouraging and motivating.  With the numerous sessions on offer throughout the week, I could no longer use the excuse that “I am far to busy to fit in exercise into my day”. Within weeks I was noticing an improvement in my strength and stamina.  I have been participating for over a year now and still look forward to the next session.
